"When I became a mother and had six children, I learned to appreciate my body in a whole other level"
Denise
Let's get physical today. So far, I have been talking about your inner stability to develop a positive attitude towards anything in life. Maybe it's also being real to talk about the reality outside your body.
Women are by far more conscious and sensitive when it comes to their body looks. Let's face it, the more you look fit the more you feel great because you have a normal weight which gives an ease and confidence in moving and carrying yourself. On the other hand, there are average-sized women who are also confident and feeling great because they have learned to love their body figure and carry themselves confidently. These two types of attitude towards body confidence are must haves.
The body beautiful
When a woman pass by and men can't help but turn their heads to look at her, she got IT! Before you get upset about yourself, why don't you try to think first that the woman who just pass by did something right about herself that you may also consider trying. A body beautiful can be naturally born in you. You just need to work it out.
Forget about the "ideal-slim" that society has input in your brain. A body beautiful means shape, curves with a round butt and boobs, a normal meat all over your body but not bones and fats. Tone your body with proper exercise, proper meals and proper rest. Maintain your body beautiful as much as you can.
Avoid negative body triggers
Remember that anything our senses received, can cause a positive or negative impact to our body. This means what you see, hear, smell, feel or taste has a lot to do with our emotions. What makes you feel bad?
- seeing your ex with or without his girlfriend
- smelling the rotten rubbish around the corner
- feeling bad from a relationship break up
- no privacy
- financial shortages
If one of these are your bad signals, avoid them and walk away, clean up, accept facts, tell yourself that you're not the same again because you've grown up and find a place soothing to your well being. When you feel good, it radiates outside. Be happy.
Look after yourself
Check out yourself naked in front of a mirror. Get a smaller mirror to spot your backside opposite the big mirror. What do you see?
That's your body. It's either you're seeing a fantastic result of your workouts or accept the fact that you gained extra weight this time. If you think you can do something about your weight then start working out. But what about your other physical enhancers like your beautiful hair, good skin tone, well manicured nails and a proper make up?
Take good care of yourself, period. Enough rest, dress well, wear a good pair of shoes or sandals, fix your hair and as much as possible, wear a good smelling perfume. As long as you look after yourself, you will always feel good inside out.
Moisturize
Give your skin the moisture it craves. After bath or shower, applying lotion all over your body is a good skin care. Your face needs night crèmes to avoid dryness too and sunblock to avoid UV effects. A dry skin is more prone to allergies and itchiness. To avoid skin problems, you can check with your dermatologist to give you proper prescription of products with a lower chemical effects on your skin.
Eat healthy
Eat breakfast, it's important. People who go to work are found more active and productive when they had their breakfast in the morning. Lunch can be ideal with proper amount of rice and meat partnered with salads. Dinner should be less, more on veggies not in carbohydrates.
Snacks in between your meals could be fattening especially if they're salty or sweet. Coffee or tea are more recommended during break times but no to cola. Water must be taken more.
My final say...
Its okay if you gained some weight but be warned not to become fatter than that. Confidence about your body is more likely on how you look after yourself and appreciate YOU. You take control of your confidence and only you can do magic to yourself.
Stay sweet and happy!
Love,
